Services

Welcome to New Prospect Baptist Church! Our church offers something for the whole family. Please check us out!

Children's Ministry

Psalm 127:3  Living Bible (TLB)

3 Children are a gift from God; they are his reward.

Prospect Church embraces this timely truth. We believe our children’s ministry prepares our children for a productive adulthood by immersing them in Bible study for their particular age level, mentoring through example and providing opportunities for service in our community. We welcome all children and families. We offer Sunday School on Sunday mornings, Team Kid on Sunday afternoons, and Missions programs on Wednesdays. Annually we host a Vacation Bible School, Harvest Festival, Christmas and Easter activities.

Youth Ministry

1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV)

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Our youth ministry equips youth to face the challenges of their world today. Our program is rich in Bible study, prayer, and working out our faith through service to the community.  We challenge our teens to embrace the scripture, encourage one another, engage in service to others and know that Christ is enough.

Annually we attend the Louisiana Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC), Disciple Now (DNow) and FUGE Camp.

Music Ministry

Psalm 66:2-4 The Message (MSG)

1-4 All together now—applause for God!

Sing songs to the tune of his glory,

set glory to the rhythms of his praise.

Music  is said to be a universal language. Our music program at New Prospect encourages instrumental and vocal praise. Music encourages us to set our hearts toward worship and prepares us for our engagement in the working world. A simple melody of God’s everlasting love can make the work week more bearable. Come join us as we worship!
